Auman: “Bring It On” is a good example of how nearly any movie can be converted into Broadway success, provided you remember that you don’t have to carry over much more than a vague skeleton of plot — “Hey, cheerleaders in California!” — and then run with it. You could come with a purely original offering and they’d just say “It’s like ‘Bring It On’ for Broadway,” so they’re smart to just skip that step.
I can’t wait to find out what Hubbell has to tell us about Gary Neal. I bet his brother-in-law skates the second line for St. Cloud State…
